Double Up today!

If running up 1,103 steps is not challenging enough, how about trying the Step Up Double Up Challenge? That’s a huge 2,206 steps!

Step Up Double Up involves running up 53 flights of stairs to the top of Central Park Tower – TWICE! There will be an hour between start times. This means, the quicker you run up the stairs, the longer you have to recover until you get to do it all again. Both run times will be added together, and the male and female with the fastest total time will be declared Double Up Challenge Champions.

Important Info

  • The Double Up Challenge is only open to runners 18 years and over.
  • Participants for the Step Up Double Up Challenge will start in one group.
  • Start times for the Step Up Double Up Challenge will be 8.00am (first time up) and 9.00am (second time up).
  • It is a prerequisite that you have completed a previous Step Up, or similar stair climb event. If you haven’t, please send us an email.
